How does this work?

Splash! makes art and fun simple. Everything you need to play along with us is included in the entry price. You show up and we do the rest so that you walk away with your own take on the preselected  painting we’re working on for that session.  Each session usually lasts between 2:30 and 3 hours long depending on the painting and the group.

How do I know what painting your doing on what day?

Click on our Calendar to see what which painting we doing each session. We update our calender on a monthly basis and offer new paintings each month. You can book your session by adding the painting to your on line cart or by calling us at 719.302.1100 to book by phone.

Ummm….I can’t paint.

Yep, we hear that all the time. Our professional artists will provide you with the techniques and guidance to create your own masterpiece. Artistic skills are not required and we develop paintings and instruction that will allow the artist in you to blossom.

What is a painting session like at Splash?

It’s just fun. We’ve taken the awe out of art. Our professional artists will guide you step-by-step from blank canvas to work of art. We explain the brushes, the paints, the strokes and even break down the painting into manageable sections so that you walk away with a perfect picture.  Whether you’re the next Van Gogh or just interesting in channeling your inner Picasso, at the end of the session you will be amazed at the artwork you have created.

Do I need to sign up in advance?

We certainly recommend it. Wednesday through Sunday night events do fill up. So reserving a space for yourself in advance is the best option. Just call us to reserve your spot! Or you can sign up and pay using PayPal or your credit card right from the calendar. Just add the session you want to attend to your cart and follow the payment directions. Make sure to print out and bring your confirmation to Splash! We need it when you check in!

Can friends or groups sit together?

Under normal circumstances we can seat friends or small groups together. Just let us know when making your reservation and we’ll make the appropriate seating arrangements.

What is the cost of a paint session at Splash!?

The price ranges from $25 to $35 depending on the time, event, discounts, and day of the week. We offer military/student/and senior discounts. Just ask.

What is included in the price?

Everything! We’ve got the paint, brushes, easels, an apron and a 16″ x20″ pre-stretched canvas just waiting for you!

What time do I need to arrive for a session?

You need to be onboard and ready for departure 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the session. This will give you time to check-in, find a seat, get your apron and paints and relax before we begin. If the thought of art scares you or you’ve just had a crazy day, come early and have a glass of wine or a beer with us before we begin.

Do you provide alcohol?

We have a great and every changing selection of wines and local beers for purchase. Please remember the law states you must be 21 years old to consume alcoholic beverages and as always, we want you to drink responsibly. If you’ve enjoyed yourself a little too much just let us know and we’ll discretely call you a cab and have you on your way. We want you safe!

Can I B.Y.O.B.?

Sorry, no. Prevailing state laws and our liquor license prohibits us from allowing customers to bring in their own alcoholic beverages. But don’t worry we have a great selection at very reasonable prices. While we want you to enjoy yourself while at Splash!, we also want to promote a safe environment for all of us.

What should I wear?

We provide aprons, but recommend wearing something you wouldn’t mind getting  a little paint on—just in case! However, all our paints wash out of most fabrics if you immediately apply water.

Do I need a reservation?

Reservations are preferred as space is limited. You can register and pay online by going directly to the Calendar and picking the painting of your choice.

What is your cancellation policy?

We ask that you to give us 48 hours notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations should be made by phone. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. We are sorry, but we cannot give refunds for “no shows” as we have already purchased supplies and arranged for staff —but we are happy to credit you for another upcoming session.
